From legends of our past, to tales about the things that make us uniquely Singapore, join our storytellers on an exciting adventure of understanding this Little Red Dot that we call home! Isn’t a sarong just a big piece of cloth? When their mother hands them her sarong, the siblings discover that this seemingly ordinary fabric can transform into anything their imagination allows. From sails to secret hideouts, costumes to capes, the sarong takes them on a playful adventure filled with surprises, laughter and new encounters.

The Wolf and the Scholar is a family-friendly Mandarin stage production adapted from the classic Chinese fable Mr Dongguo and the Wolf. Set in a forest, the story follows the compassionate Mr Dongguo, who saves a wolf being chased by hunters, only to face danger when the wolf turns against him after escaping. Through humour, music, lively characters, and audience interaction, the production explores themes of kindness, wisdom, gratitude, fairness, and moral responsibility.

Sea jellies have entralled many with their mesmerising nature. Now is the chance to go behind-the-scenes as Singapore Oceanarium sheds light on its sea jelly husbandry and breeding efforts. In this guided tour of the Aquarist Lab, gain exclusive access to the sea jelly nursery and catch aquarists in action and their commitment to caring for sea jellies.

CLAY RELIEF CANVAS PAINTING WORKSHOP "Singapore’s Mosaic Playgrounds – A Heritage Journey" WORKSHOP OVERVIEW Singapore’s iconic mosaic playgrounds are more than just childhood landmarks—they’re tangible pieces of the nation’s urban heritage, designed in the 1970s–80s by pioneers like Khor Ean Ghee to reflect local culture and creativity. This workshop invites participants to transform these beloved spaces into vibrant clay relief canvas paintings, celebrating how playground design has shaped Singapore’s social and cultural fabric.

Common Touch invites you to slow down and reconnect with your senses through the timeless art of pottery. Led by ceramic artists Fyon Cheong and Zestro Leow, the studio offers a welcoming space for people to create, bond, and experience the joy of clay. In this 3-hour workshop, participants will explore two key pottery techniques: 1.

Celebrate Singapore’s rich culture through clay! In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to throw and paint your own kopi-style cup with iconic local themes — from hawker delights to nostalgic batik patterns. Each participant will create one cup and decorate it with a Singapore-inspired painting, such as kaya toast and kopi motifs, Peranakan tile designs, old-school biscuit tins, etc.

Get up close with the artistry,and bring home a delicious souvenir from your visit. While your pastries bake,explore our production area that has been running since 1974,then relax over a high tea with freshly made food,cakes,and pastries. Head to Gin Thye for a fun,interactive day making traditional Chinese pastries,touring our heritage production area,and indulging in a delightful tea session filled with fresh treats.

At the Southernmost Point of Continental Asia, a journey inspired by aquatic tales awaits. Discover photospots drawing from Disney and Pixar stories including The Little Mermaid, Finding Nemo, and Lilo & Stitch. Return after dark for the Isle of Adventure Night Experience, when the landscape transforms into a luminous coastal escape.

This is a 2-hour hands-on painting workshop where you can create your own decorated mini tingkat containers! The session includes painting instruction using acrylics and markers, allowing participants to create personalized tingkat art pieces while connecting with local cultural traditions. All materials will be provided, including the tingkat.

PERANAKAN TILES RELIEF ART WORKSHOP WITH A TWIST "Bringing Heritage to Life with Clay & Puffy Paint" WORKSHOP OVERVIEW This hands-on session reimagines iconic Peranakan tiles through a tactile twist – participants will create their own relief-style art pieces on either canvas or ceramic tiles, using air-dry clay and puffy paint to replicate the intricate, raised patterns of traditional Peranakan craftsmanship.

Step into the world of popiah — Singapore’s most beloved spring roll! Join this immersive tour at Kway Guan Huat Joo Chiat Popiah, the birthplace of traditional popiah skins since 1938. In this 1-hour experience, participants will: 🥢 Watch the live art of paper-thin popiah skin-making, spun on a searing hot griddle.

Voices & Keys is a 60-minute beginner-friendly workshop where participants discover the joy of music through keyboard and singing. Guided step by step, they will learn simple keyboard chords and vocal warm-up techniques, then combine both to perform Singapore’s iconic song “Home” by Kit Chan. Designed for all ages and backgrounds, the session nurtures confidence, self-expression, and collaboration in a supportive setting.
